Cheers To Our Health!

 

Hi freaks! These pics were taken at my dear friend Anastasia Koutsioukis‘ house which is a Mid-Century Modern dream. Anastasia and her hubby own my fave Miami-based Greek restaurant, Mandolin Aegean Bistro, and she invited a few of us out to her home for an intimate lunch. Knowing I’d be surrounded with some fierce fashionistas, I decided to wear a vintage-inspired lace dress by Bochelle. My gal pals Stacy and Dara own the online boutique and they both have super dope style — plus,  I love how the wallet-friendly prices won’t have my bank account seeing zeros. Amen to that!

Let’s also “amen” to the fact I am finally recovering from a TWO WEEK long stomach flu. A few days after the above get together at Anastasia’s house, I though I had apendicitis and was rushed to the ER. Turns out, it was a stomach bug my children so graciously gifted me. And while I’ve been pretty miserable/cranky/mental, well, I’m 2 pounds from my goal weight. I know, I’m crazy. DEAL WITH IT.

I’ve spent the past 14 days crouched in fetal position on my couch watching so much garbage television (like Rob & Chyna, Hoarders, Intervention, Hollywood Medium Tyler Henry — you get the horrid picture) it feels as though my brain shrank in size if that’s even possible. A marathon of The Real Housewives of New Jersey will kill your noggin. TRUST. It happened to me. Reality TV is a dangerous drug, kids. It’s like crack but won’t make your teeth all yellow, stinky and gross.

But now that I’m on the mend…watch out, world. Cheers to our health!
