{Rails long sleeve chambray dress, Karen Walker sunnies, Urban Outfitters hat, Chanel leather espadrilles}
Real-talk: The past weeks have been filled with mind-blowing lows and highs. The lows? My dad was hospitalized with pneumonia for 3 weeks throwing my world into a tailspin. The highs? He recovered and I was able to join my family on our annual ski trip to Vail where my daughter and I finally learned to ski on our own like bosses. Seeing Ava zip around the mountain was like feeling my heart dance around me. Wonderful.
The moment I got back to Miami after weeks away in bone-chilling New Jersey and Colorado, the Pisces in me craved the ocean and sun like George Clooney craves females under age 30. So last Friday, I hit Soho Beach House with a few pals and did just that.
I wore my new go-to everyday dress, a chambray number by Rails, funky Karen Walker sunnies (they’re quite the conversation piece!) and Chanel leather espadrilles. While at the beach, I was able to finally secede from the recent curve balls life threw my way.
And after a few dips in the cathartic ocean, I felt recharged and ready to start March with a new attitude. I now find myself excited about nothing at all — which is oddly amazing.
I’m learning to just be.
I just realized how unappropriate my email was… Sorry about that, really. I even asked u about shoes, silly me!
Beautiful shots, this makes me Miami-sick! And I looove you Chanel espadrillas, so chic 🙂
