Mama’s Got a New Uniform

A kick-ass Wynwood, Miami-based mural by artist Didi Contreras.

Now more than ever, I’ve been meandering the streets of the mural-filled neighborhood of Wynwood, Miami. The area is peppered with many of my favorite healthy eats such as Jugo Fresh, Zak the Baker and Dr. Smood, so I can score a clean lunch while soaking in the sites of the newest murals.

Right now, I’m loving artist Didi Contreras‘ works. Her colorful pieces depicting bold women (yay for girl power!) are the perfect makings for Intsagram sensations (yeah, that’s a thing). 

I shot these pics last week before my trip to Park City, Utah (more on that amazing-ness next week), wearing my new fave pair of M.i.h. jeans paired with my current go-to Aquazzura flats on rotation. My Fendi “Karl” pom pom has been quite the conversation piece, too, as people always stop and ask about this obnoxiously large yet fun and furry accessory.
