Dude. This Saturday marks my 11-year wedding anniversary. It’s such an insane thing because it feels like we were saying, “I do,” and cutting a rug at our reception at Vizcaya just yesterday. The even crazier part is that we’ve been together since meeting one another when we were just 21. I know, I know, I catch a lot of flack for marrying my fourth-ever boyfriend, but Sebastian’s a keeper.

He puts up with my zaniness, Pisces-ness (I think I made that term up), quirks and has yet to silence me during any of my 3-hour monologues during dinner parties (which can be downright embarrassing after five-too-many pinot grigios). He always leaves the toilet seat down, patiently awaits to watch Dateline with me (because he knows I’m far too scared to watch it alone) and he devours my mediocre home-cooked meals without a pang of protest. He’ll wear headphones to watch TV during bedtime because he knows I can’t read with noise in the background and he’ll try new things, like Pilates or tzatziki sauce  just because I love it, too. And while all these nuances may seem in-consequential, well, often times, it’s the trivial things that matter most when it boils down to relationships.

So without getting too eHarmony on you freaks, I just want to say happy anniversary to Sebastian. We started celebrating early this year and attended a Dom Perignon dinner last night hosted by my girl Marcella Novela. I brought the vintage Moschino belt I flagrantly stole from my mama out of retirement and paired it with a black jumpsuit, which was an asinine idea because I was at a champagne tasting and had to pee every 11 minutes and it took some Mission Impossible shit to go potty, but WHATEVER, I looked somewhat chic.
