Oh, the tropical depression! For those of us dwelling in the Sunshine State, well, there was nothin’ sunshine-y about the past week. For the past 7 (yes, 7!) days, it’s been raining a slow and endless drizzle. With this said, my mood has been channeling that of a mental ward patient in solitary confinement. On Sunday, it took three bellinis and an order of eggs benedict smothered in hollandaise sauce to snap me out of my abysmal funk. This tried-and-true holistic alternative to Prozac works — for a few sweet hours, that is.
So when I woke up to the glorious sun today, I couldn’t help but do a happy happy joy joy dance à la Ren & Stimpy in this lace Self Portrait dress. I’m loving this one-to-watch label hailing from Malaysian-born and London-based designer Han Chon as it’s boasts a decidedly feminine Chloé feel to it — at half the price. Whoop whoop!
Now excuse me as I’m off to an outdoor lunch at Mandolin under these blue skies — and nope, no bellinis are necessary this time.

Good Ole gloomy, rainy weather. That’s what we get for living in Florida! Why can’t we have nice weather? I would love for it to be a little colder out, I see in the magazines these cute winter outfits that I can never wear here it’s to hot! Believe me I tried the other day to pretend it was cold, I ended the day sweating lol. Love the outfit I am all about bold colors I spent a couple hours last night looking for red shoes to wear to work but with a 5.5 shoe size its a rare find! I absolutely LOVE that dress!
