Sombré and Suede

I mean, what is it about a new hair dye job or a brand spankin’ new handbag that’s like an instantaneous boost of dopamine? This week, my colorist Amanda (she makes house calls — text her at 786-201-9495) and I went “sombré.” Sombré, you ask? According to the trade magazines I read for my “real job,” it’s the IT hair look for summer: It’s a softer version of ombré minus the  dramatic contrast. To score the look, you have to have an existing ombré and thin highlights added to your natural roots. Amanda killed it, right? And my au courant Proenza Schouler PS1 bag in suede purple (the most spectacular shade of purple there ever was, in fact!) is the cherry on top of all this newness.
