Spring Break Updates

Spring Break has been so enjoyable/merry/pleasant thus far (namely because I don’t have to wake up prior to the un-Godly hour of 7 a.m., obvs). Since school’s been out, my daughter Ava and I celebrated her 10th birthday in Washington, D.C. where we soaked up the wondrous sight of the cherry blossoms in full bloom (and dropped a wad at the American Girl Store). My sister Vivian lives there so we got our sight seeing, shopping and eating on like no one’s biz-ness.

After our visit to D.C., I spent a few leisurely days in Miami. One day, the weather was positvely perfect (think 72 degrees and sunny) for a chill lunch at Mandolin Aegean Bistro. In fact, that’s where the photos in this post were taken. I wore a gingham off-the-shoulder top (two trends in one! yay!) paired with Tous‘ latest colorful collection called the Camille Collection which is available for purchase here. I’ve always been drawn to blue hues and love that azure-colored precious stones such as amazonite and dumortierte are omnipresent in the Camille line. I added a little va-va-voom in the shape of a metallic Tous metallic crossbody and fruity key ring. So stinkin’ cute and tropical!

We’re now halfway through Spring Break and flying out to Pinehurst, North Carolina tonight. I am fully committed to making memories with the kids and devouring Southern cooking like it’s my job. #BiscuitsAndGravy
