Ripped and Rainbow-ed

Valentino Rockstud

{Valentino Rockstud 1973 pumps, Citizens of Humanity Emerson jeans}

I typically wouldn’t dedicate an entire blog entry to a pair of heels (thanks, Dionne!) and ripped jeans but I posted the above picture on Instagram and it got re-grammed a zillion times which has to mean something (or maybe it’s the wine talking. That happens all too often to me).

While it’s evident these rainbow stilettos can make an entire outfit (they’re so va-va-voom!), well, these distressed jeans are equally perfect as I haven’t taken them off since I bought them (Tip: Order a size down because they’re super loose if you want them too).

So enjoy this look from last night’s dinner out on the town. For those of you in Miami, we dined at Seagrape at The Thompson Hotel (my choice for date night as I’m unequivocally obsessed with Chef Michelle Bernstein) and the food was beyond — our favorite plates included the grilled octopus, braised short rib and guava-filled donuts. And be sure to visit the cozy 1930s House tucked away in the back of the hotel — the live music and creative cocktails were such a welcome departure from the same ol’ same ol’ in the 305.
