Black Tie Vibez

Wazzup, cyber children? The family and I just got back from spending Easter weekend in North Carolina where I literally ate my weight in biscuits smothered in gravy (and other cellulite-inducing ingredients like sausage and FRIED BOLOGNA — yeah, that’s a thing, apparently). It was a really special Spring Break because my mom, dad, Uncle Bill, cousins, nephews and nieces joined us for the vacation. The gentlemen golfed. The ladies spa-ed and clocked in some serious couch time. And the kids were left to their own devices such as eating Peeps until they were high as kites on sugar. Good times!

This week in Miami is a pretty chill one for me. As for today, I super stoked because my dear friend Nikki Novo is coming over to give me an energy reading. I’m excited. And nervous as shit.

Like, what if she tells me some spirit from the other side says I’m going to die due to my unhealthy obsession with Chipotle burrito bowls? What if my irrational fear of Lilliputian-sized Smart Cars is actually rational because I’m doomed to be crushed by one while crossing the street to a Chipotle in the near future? What if Nikki is able to forsee the grand finale of Game of Thrones? Hold up! Like, what if Nikki senses I’m teetering on the brink of insanity? Oh, wait. She already knows that juicy tidbit about me. Doh!

I’ll be sure to share what happens with that hot mess. In the meantime, I bought this BCBG dress just in case a gala or fancy schmancy wedding pops up because the fit and fabric is fuegoooooo. As for my fleeeeek hair (thx for the expert color Sheenon at Atma Beauty) — looks so good it could win a nobel peace prize! Are you feeling my black tie vibez?
