Ehr-Ma-Gawd. The temperatures here in sweltering Miami, Florida finally dipped into the 50s and what does that mean for us wintry weather-deprived folks?
It’s time to bust out those coats, baby! If only for two hot minutes, that is.
My mom (Greek moms are indisputably the best, by the way) bought me this all-white statement coat and wide-leg pant ensemble. While it’s rather Stepford Wife-esque — much like Kylie Jenner to a vile of lip filler — I am feeling it! When mama gifts me these kind of gems, I think she’s subliminally trying to tell me to dress in a more classic (read: older) way. AND I’LL TAKE IT. Especially since it’s a Rochas situation. And Rochas anything is invariably everything.
I managed to make the outfit a wee bit hipper and younger (sorry, ma) by throwing on a pair of hoop earrings. We born-in-Jersey girls love our mall kiosk-bought hoops! They scream, “I have swagger” like no other accessory.
Cheers to the cooler temperatures and for those of you braving snow-mageddon elsewhere in the country…keep warm and hot toddy on.
